This morning I woke up from a dream where for some reason I had live mice in my mouth... I assume the dream-fairy meant that one for one of the cats, - either that or one of the cats was telepathetically messing with my subconscious... or something... anyways... woke up with a desperate urge to brush my teef.
Now I got that out of the way I can get to the more serious matters. My little Kitty is still ill, and will not recover.
We've gone from total misery and vomits and cat-hospital every 3'rd day where they put her on drip...
or she's stable at a state where she doesn't really eat... which isn't a stable state..
but she's fairly OK.. for a dying cat.
I check every day that she's eating, purring and playing...
as long as she does all three we're not going back to the stinky place for that last injection.
And she does amazingly behave fairly happy... sometimes at least:
Urracá is locked out of the bedroom and not entirely happy with that, but he does what he can to help.
Today for instance, he bravely fought this lone, wounded toilet paper roll.
There's (apparently) nothing as dangerous as a TP-roll when it's wounded and away from it's herd and territory, but Urracá fearlessly wrestled it to the ground and gave it what it deserved.
This is completely embarrassing, but here goes:
I've almost never had an oven that wasn't self-cleaning. If I did, it was in one of my early apartments and I didn't stay long enough in the place to bother cleaning it.
So--what's the best (and greenest) way to go about it? I would like to avoid using the super-nasty chemical stuff as much as possible. Any tips?
Thanks!
He's all settled in with his meds and his babyfuds and some experimental small can fuds too.
Has his own kingdom in the bedroom, but is locked in cos I think morphined kittums belong inside.
And he has a history of deciding to lope off alone when he feels bad.
So he's set up with fuds and live cat nips and a heating pad under his floofy blankie.
(Floofy blankie gets lots of kneading and cuddling on.)
I've been carrying in the Wolfie Cat, who is his buddy, to den up in the bedroom with us at night.
To cut the boredom a bit.
And Motley, who expects to sleep on the bed.
(And everybody loves Motley, who appears to be just stuffed with Cat Charisma.)
So the first time I found Idiot Kitten in there, I assumed he had done the Ninja Kitty thing, and clouded my mind while he slipped into the room unnoticed.
The cat who walks through walls.....
So I just let him nest with all the Big Boys too, since he was sleepy.
(Some times the Big Guys don't like him around since he is much given to unexpected enthusiastic pounces.)
That was yesterday.
So today I was in there opening babyfoods for Boe, talking babycat talk and making babyfud bottle top noises, and then there he was again, inside the room.
Hmmm...
Well Boe actually wants his tasty treats, and him's a shy type, so I pick up the crazy child and chuck him out the door.
Fair enough.
And turn around and he's there again.
Crazy boy has been squeezing through the bottom of the former heater.
(Disconnected, whew.)
Then coming out behind the wardrobe, and crawling under it to get
into the room.
With possible side trip to Narnia, for all I know.
Because he has to be where the people are.
Such a sweetie.
Luckily, it doesn't seem to work the other way.
He saw me look at him, and went all flat and rug-like on the floor, trying to get back under it, but didn't seem to be able to manage it.
Ten minutes later there is a scratching noise out in the hall.
Silmi is trying to figure out where Nikki Kitten went.
I have an image of all the cats ending up in the bedroom this way, like the Monty Python skit with the room full of mailmen and milkmen.
Had to upload it to youtube this time!
At least his bedding will be clean soon, even if he isn't....
to get going in a cold and (slightly) snowy day
goddess bless the DbT.
...because if I have google wave, everyone else in the world has google wave.
but if by any chance any of ya'll been living in a cave, I got eight (8) invites to gwave. doesn't mean that I know much anything about it.

later
OK so I'm late again..sorry but since our Thanksgiving trip to Cali I've been so busy catching up with emails, mail and stuff that I'm behind again.
There weren't many entries for this quest so you all must be as busy as me! Thanks go to Realworld, Yancunyong and Cap'n Stephel for your great entries.
Realworld got the ball rolling on this quest with his photo collage of his list of things to be thankful for...wonderful work Real! I need to work on my collage skills, I've not done one that I real liked. Real has a great sense of composition and I like how he has combined text with photos and the pictures aren't all square. I really love how he placed the cat photos....very creative!
Along comes Yan with another wonderful example of a great collage with one photo with various enhancements. I love that Yan used the first photo he entered in a Photo Quest! He inspired me to look at some of my old photos and I found that I had over looked some good photos that I'm now working on...thanks Yan. Also thanks for the lovely complements on the Photo Quest!
Last but not least was Cap'n Stephels entries. Great photo Cap'n and a wonderful list of thankful things...I like the photo of buba the best in her series, great composition and she nailed the cat's eyes.
Great work all, and I'm so thankful that you post your photos to the Photo Quest and I get to see wonderful photos and learn from you work...thanks so much!
I got a link to this video in an email this morning and had to post it. Have fun watching!
